Q: What does it cost to work with you?

Our planning fees typically range from $650–$995+, depending on the length and complexity of your trip. This fee covers the time, research, expertise, and personalized attention that goes into creating your trip - from our initial consultation and custom itinerary to booking assistance, unlimited revisions, and support through your return home.Your planning fee is separate from the actual cost of your travel. Flights, hotels, transportation, tours, activities, and other trip expenses are charged directly to your credit card, so you'll always be able to see exactly what each component of your trip costs. We believe in complete transparency - there are no hidden markups added to your travel costs.Because every trip is different, we'll discuss your planning fee upfront so you'll know exactly what to expect before we get started.No cookie-cutter itineraries here. Q: Which destinations do you plan?

We plan customized travel worldwide. The destinations shown on this page are examples rather than limits, so tell us where you're dreaming of and we'll match you with the right person for it.

Q: How far ahead should I get in touch?

6 to 12 months ahead is ideal, depending on the destination and the time of year. Some destinations and peak travel periods benefit from planning even earlier. We can often work with shorter timelines too, subject to availability, so it's always worth asking.

Q: What do I actually receive?

A day-by-day itinerary with every flight, room, train, transfer and reservation confirmed and attached, in one document that lives on your phone. We revise it as many times as needed before it's final.

Q: What happens if something goes wrong mid-trip?

If something comes up during your trip you can reach our team on WhatsApp or email, and if it's something we can assist with remotely we'll do our best to help. Certain situations, such as last-minute airline disruptions or changes that have to be handled directly with a supplier, may need to be addressed with the airline, hotel or provider while you're traveling.

7 Steps From First Call to Boarding Pass

The same person stays with your trip from the first call to the last night, and the rest of the team reviews the work along the way.

Every trip begins with a conversation. Tell us where you're headed and we'll take it from there.

Start With a Consultation

Initial Consultation

We connect by phone or in person to learn about what you're looking for, including destinations, trip length, budget, travel style, and other priorities. We'll also explain how the Travel 2Borders planning process works.

Travel Questionnaire

We send you a detailed questionnaire so we can learn more about what you're envisioning for your trip. Once we receive the completed questionnaire, we begin drafting your personalized itinerary.

First Itinerary Draft

Within approximately 7–10 business days, we send you the first draft of your itinerary for review and feedback.

Unlimited Revisions

We continue refining the itinerary based on your feedback and make as many edits as needed to get the trip just right.

Booking

Once the itinerary is confirmed, we begin the booking process. We send a secure credit card authorization form along with a traveler information form so we have everything needed to make reservations on your behalf. Typically, we book hotels, flights, activities, and transfers, in that order.

Final Quality Assurance

Approximately 3–4 weeks before departure, the itinerary goes through our QA process to make sure the details are accurate and everything needed for the trip is in place.

Travel Support

While traveling, clients can reach our team via WhatsApp or email if questions or issues arise. When we're able to assist remotely, we're happy to help.
