Three Weeks, Nine Cities, One Brother
"Went on a 3 week adventure to Japan with my brother where we really went everywhere. So some extreme planning was definitely needed. None of this would have been possible with out Lori and Allie with Travel 2 borders. From the very beginning I was over whelmed with planning the trip when suggested I use a Travel agent. After initially speaking with Lori I knew they were the right fit to help. They listened to our wants and desires and planned our whole trip including experiences, travel, and accommodations (which was huge). Even being online and in ticket queues late into the night here due to the 17 hour difference in Japan to get us tickets that sell out near immediately. Allie was in constant communication with us when booking everything and planning while Lori's expertise on the country, culture, and technological needs made them both invaluable. I would say my one complaint is actually with myself and it's that we didn't allow them plan more for us. The food tours they had as well as experiences were some of if not my favorite parts of the trip. I am so incredible grateful to both Lori and Allie for helping me on this dream adventure and when I go back I will be using their services again."

Wonderful Trip to Andalucia Spain
This is our 2nd trip planned by Kylie and Lori Borders. All I can say is Wow! Everything went remarkably well and the level of detailed planning was amazing. We appreciated the itinerary variety that included ticketed attractions, small group and private tours, and free time. It was a perfect balance! We received updates during the trip that were timely and useful. We used trains, a bus and private drivers to get around. It all worked exceeding well. We did a 2.5-week circle trip through Andalucia in southern Spain. There were plenty of things to see and do without having to travel north to Madrid or Barcelona. Some of our favorite places were true under the radar finds. The hotels we stayed at were very comfortable and unique. All had great locations for exploring. We used to plan our own trips. It became too much work. We wish we started using a travel agent sooner.
3 Weeks in Vietnam
We had a fantastic first trip to Vietnam that included five distinct areas each with their own charm for our party of four. Lori and Kylie did a wonderful job making sure we had seamless connections for the 28 flights, 5 hotels, 3 boats and countless ground routes. When flights and hotel changes happened they contacted us during the trip and took care of all the details.
Amazing Japan!
Lori provided excellent service and attention to detail that made our trip to Japan just incredible. We had some mobility challenges that Lori addressed for us so that our complete focus could be on the experience, not the logistics. Her guidance on best uses of our time completely aligned with our desire to experience the culture, see all types of gardens, and travel in the countryside. We are very grateful for her expertise and patience!
Fantastic Trip to Mexico City and Oaxaca!
We truly loved working with Lori on our travel plans to Mexico. We were returning to Mexico City during Art Week so we didn't want to have specific tours arranged. We were concerned that restaurant reservations would be hard to get and she was able to secure some of the most popular restaurants during a very busy week. She had great recommendations for additional museum visits and areas to visit. While we had already made our flight reservations to Mexico City, Lori found the best flights to Oaxaca and made those reservations for us. We had three private tours in Oaxaca, all excellent and great value. The hotel she chose was lovely, in a great location with wonderful staff. All in all, Lori created a fabulous, hassle-free trip for us with many highlights.
What a WONDERFUL Trip!
Traveled to both Paris and London. We felt we were overly ambitious in what we wanted to see and do. We should have asked Lori to build in a few more blocks of down time, otherwise a nicely designed itinerary which included all activities we asked for. When our Louvre Museum time was canceled due to the jewel heist, contacted Lori at that time and she quickly rescheduled that time a couple of days later so we were able to get that time in at the Louvre. What on the spot support!
Best Trip Ever!!
What a wonderful trip! We have just been on a lovely three week holiday to some iconic destinations across America. The planning was made simple and stress free by Kylie and Lori. We had some big hopes, wanting to see the West coast attractions as well as experience New York as it started to get festive in December. Kylie planned a jam packed itinerary that allowed us to tick off all of the sights we wanted to see (we had a long list) and managed to do it within a very reasonable budget. We got to experience everything from the Hollywood sign, the famous LA palm trees, Disneyland, the Grand Canyon, Vegas nightlife, beautiful wineries in Portland, Mt Hood, and of course Lady Liberty and the Empire State Building in NYC!
Philippines, a Trip We Will Never Forget!
Lori and Kylie were absolutely amazing throughout this entire process. We initially researched itineraries for the Philippines and attempted to plan the trip on our own, but we quickly realized we were out of our depth. Once we found them and shared our vision, they promptly created a custom itinerary that perfectly matched what we were looking for. Despite our indecisiveness and multiple change requests, they developed a picture-perfect plan. Every detail was meticulously laid out, and our trip was incredible. Even while we were traveling, they remained attentive and helpful with any questions we had. We could never have organized such an amazing trip on our own.
So Many Memories With Our Family on an Epic Europe Trip!
Lori and Allie put together our Europe trip, with a layover in Iceland, on short notice and did amazing planning. They helped us structure the trip around our interests, we had video calls to exchange ideas, and Allie sorted out our flights to maximize points and desired travel dates. This trip had stops in Amsterdam, Germany and Switzerland. Allie arranged our rail passes, determining the best ticket option for our itinerary, and aligned accommodations with our requests. Additionally, when we needed to change our itinerary mid-trip, Allie jumped on a video call with us and planned out the modification.
Best 1st Trip to Amazing Japan
Lori and Kylie are awesome. I started planning a trip with my son (24) to visit my daughter (19) in Japan while she did a semester abroad. It became overwhelming as this was our first international trip. Found Lori & Kylie, and they were perfect to help put our trip together. Both are very knowledgeable about Japan as they frequently travel there. They found us hotels close to the rail lines which made navigation Japan easy. They also suggested some of their favorite restaurants, which was nice because there's so many places to explore. We visited Kobe, Tokyo and Osaka.
Using a Travel Agent Was Worth It
Lori Borders surpassed expectations as a travel agent for our trip to Germany, particularly in Berlin. Her itinerary was exceptionally well-crafted, seamlessly balancing historical landmarks like the Berlin Wall and Brandenburg Gate with vibrant cultural experiences in neighborhoods like Kreuzberg and Prenzlauer Berg. Lori's attention to detail ensured we explored Berlin's art scene, enjoyed local cuisine, and even experienced the city's nightlife.
Take the Stress Away
I wanted to take a long and complicated trip through South Korea and Tokyo. Lori and her team were instrumental in planning out all the locations and activities, logistics and travel, and all the odds and ends that often go into arriving in a foreign country. It was such a load off to have the trip planned and booked and have someone in my corner if things didn't go as planned.
